Snusan is a sneasler who was born in modern day Sinnoh although she spent most of her life in the Unova region. She quickly learned a sense of individualism due to the mocking she received for being trans and different from the other sneasels. She dived into a life of delinquency as a means of growing stronger in order to protect herself. She had quite a few run-ins with the law due to her behavior. She would often start unsanctioned battles with those who insulted her. After stealing enough money from unsuspecting tourists she was able to purchase a Razor Claw and evolve. Her new Sneasler body was not only stronger but also had no visible dimorphic features which helped with her gender dysphoria.
Later on in life Snusan would start traveling from region to region trying to find a place to settle down. Unova felt like a prison due to all of the negative memories made there. While traveling and enjoying all the signature food of each region she found her calling. She got into a scuffle with a sylveon named Jersey who really gave her a run for her money. She was confused how a sylveon could keep up given the type match up. Jersey told her about how they training to take on the Pokemon League. The idea of actually beating a region's Pokemon League ignited a fire within her. She joined up with Jersey to form a team and enter the Pokemon League. Training with Jersey allowed her to master her now signature move, Dire Claw.
The two started traveling together to the city where the first Gym was located. She was filled with overconfidence from all the victories she had while street fighting. This led her to a rude awakening when the two person team of her and Jersey lost to the very first Gym. They realized that they couldn't do this with just the two of them. They agreed to try again once they had at least a full team of six members. Now the duo travel from city to city in hopes to find others who will join them on this challenge.
