Juniper came from a typical family. Her childhood was uneventful and what many would call normal. That was until she met Elizabeth Meadows. Juniper and Elizabeth became very quick friends and were inseperable for most of their childhood. Juniper didn't know why she was felt the need to be by Elizabeth's side for the longest time. It wasn't until high school when they and some of Elizabeth's friends had a slumber party to celebrate Elizabeth's birthday. Elizabeth suggested they play some different types of games while her parents were away. The game she wanted to play was Seven Minutes in Heaven. A game where two people would enter a closet and whatever happens happens. The first two to enter the closet was Elizabeth and Juniper. Elizabeth wasted no time and kissed Juniper. Not even half way through the seven minutes before they heard a knock on the door, signaling they needed to leave. Elizabeth scambled out of the enclosed space as her parents came home early. Leaving Juniper shocked and alone in the closet.
Ever since she had been obsessed with Elizabeth but unsure how to ever talk about it. Every time Elizabeth talked about getting into a relationship it felt like a knife in her heart. When Elizabeth talked about hooking up with a member of the baseball team, she thought it wouldn't last like all the other relationships. However she noticed Elizabeth would spend all her time with her new boyfriend. The reality finally sunk in when high school ended and Elizabeth talked about moving away and planning their wedding. That was the last time Juniper ever spoke with Elizabeth. No invite to the wedding, no casual catching up, no messages on social media. Juniper would make her way through college but not without complications. She met a man in her class named Edward, a donkey who became her first friend since her falling out with Elizabeth. Edward smoked weed and it wasn't too long until Juniper was joining him. Over the years Edward would try hard and harder drugs and would bring Juniper along with him. She would fall into the throes of addiction before the end of her college years.
Her and Edward would spend most of their days getting high by any means necessary. They fed into each other's additions. They'd shoot up together, pop pills together, share the same pipe. Their families would try to intervine but nothing worked. It wasn't until Juniper found herself waking up in a hospital bed with Edward by her side that everything changed. She had suffered from a drug overdose. This event led to both her and Edward checking themselves into rehab and getting clean. Juniper still smokes weed from time to time but not around Edward who swore off any and all substances. Juniper and Edward now share an apartment together. Juniper would end up reconnecting with Tiana and Minnet. Despite everything she still thinks about Elizabeth. During a nighttime talk she hears her name being called, it was Donovan, Elizabeth's husband.
