Baxter was born an only child into a family ran by a military general. From a extremely young age Baxter had his media controlled, trained to be a solider, and lived in strict conditions. When not at school he would be taught how to properly operate and maintain multiple kinds of firearms. His world views were predetermined by his controlling father. Over time as he grew he would catch glimpses of the world outside the lens of his upbringing. It all came crumbling when he met his friends PJ, Robert, and Markus.
Over the years he would watch as his close friends started discovering things about themselves. Markus coming to terms with his homosexuality during high school was the first major shake-up. At first Baxter would push back on the idea entirely due to his up bringing but after extensive talks with his friends, he started to accept. Back home he would keep up apparences to his father until one day his father found out. They had an explosive arguement which led to his father kicking him out. Markus' family offered him a room, where he stayed until college.
Free from his father's controlling ways and now in college, Baxter was able to see just how varied others could be. It was also there where he and his friends would meet Jericho. Jericho and Baxter had an interesting friendship at the start. Baxter would teach Jericho about guns and in return Jericho would teach Baxter how to be more charismatic. Baxter's social skills were a bit stunted given his upbringing so with Jericho's help he was able to better interact with his peers.
The group decided to drop out of college and they ended up in Jericho's hometown, Oakland. Baxter would find himself a captain in Jericho's gang. His hot-blooded nature and skills learned when he was younger made him perfect for handling and disciplining groups of rowdy new recruits. His short fuse and aggressive loyality to his friends make him someone to watch out for.
